Lil Mosey is only 18 years old and is already a superstar. Boasting a whopping 4.4 million followers on Instagram, the Seattle native is only in competition with himself. Each release serves as one-up from his previous, proving his talents as a singer, rapper, producer, and overall entertainer.
As “Blueberry Faygo” continues to dominate the airwaves, Mosey unleashed 3 new tracks to his recent Certified Hitmaker album, a title that truly speaks for itself. The star-studded album features Chris Brown, Gunna, and Trippie Redd.
If you know Mosey, you know he’s always blinged out. King Ice caught up with Mosey to discuss his favorite chains, and why he named the song “Rose Gold.”
I see you got ice all-around your neck. What’s your favorite piece?
This one [points to a chain around his neck] was kinda the same price, but it was a little more expensive. The other one was $4000 more, but it came in two different pieces. It depends, I had to buy both of them separately. This one right here is all one piece, so I’d say this is the most expensive. [shows another chain] I didn’t have to buy two different pieces.
Do you only wear them on special occasions?
Nah, I wear that one every day. This snowflake shit I really only wear on special occasions. I was going to add more to it, how it looks right now is different than what they’re trying to do. They were going to add another big snowflake then add a glow to it, but I like it right now. If I wear it out, it makes me look classy. I fuck with that.
What’s your love for “Rose Gold”?
My bro Kari, I always keep some rose gold on me. He found me my first grills when I was younger, they were rose gold. That was his favorite gold, so I picked that from him. Ever since then, it's my favorite. It's the best gold. RIP Kari, I keep rose gold alive for him. He bought me my first grills and I respect that.
